What stresses an electronic in-ear device the most? It is the combination of moisture and tiny wax particles. While being worn, slight warmth builds up in the ear canal, much like in a miniature greenhouse. When this moisture cools upon removal, condensation can form. A regular routine prevents microscopic droplets from entering the speaker opening.

Daily routine after removal

In the evening, carefully detach the silicone earpiece from the housing. Wipe the silicone with a dry, lint-free cloth. If wax residue remains in the opening, remove it with a fine stainless steel loop. Store the device overnight with the battery compartment open or in a suitable drying box. Almond oil used for skin care should always be fully absorbed into the skin before inserting the hearing system to keep the ABS housing dry.
